Overview
About the Zine
Weaving Letters is a collection of unfolded nets in which five textile patterns woven in p5.js (stripe, check, Fair Isle, argyle, and Nordic) are applied to 3D typography from A to Z. It documents how patterns made with code are printed on paper, then cut and folded into something you can hold in your hand. Tear out any page you like and build your own 3D letter.

Process
Making the Zine
I made the zine Weaving Letters based on TypoFold, which I submitted as a poster paper to the HCI Korea Conference. While making the zine, I refined the diagrams, thinking about how to convey the content visually.
I had always wanted to make a zine someday. This project gave me the chance to handle the design and bookbinding myself, and it was fun to step away from coding for a change.
